We will pick you up at 8 am first we arrive at the archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman where we will have a guided tour of the military fortress where the warriors trained. Continuing our tour we will have stops in QENQO, PUCAPUCARA and TAMBOMACHAY, reaching PISAQ, where you will enjoy this amazing place divided into neighborhoods, plazas, cemetery, farming sectors. Continue our journey to the colorful market of Pisac where you will have free time to interact with villagers and artisans can be obtained gourds, pottery, straw hats, alpaca textiles, musical instruments, paintings, antiques, and jewelry. Pick you up from hotel 8 am, we head to the base of the ATV, where we have about 15 minutes to practice and recommendations for this experience. Back to Cusco visit Chinchero where the remains of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui. Admire its well preserved Inca Wall in the main square and visit the beautiful colonial temple with interesting frescoes on the portico, built on the foundations of an Inca building. colonial and republican period, emphasizing in the town colonial streets and doorways with coats of nobles and chiefs of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Return to Cusco and overnight.

We begin our journey in the main square of Cusco also known as Huacaypata continuing the picturesque neighborhood of San Blas, 12 Angles stone, Koricancha also known as Sun Temple which in Incan time was revered and respected temple in the city of Cuzco, typical and local market of San Pedroo. We pick you up from your hotel and then we go the bus station and travel by bus for about 3 hours to Mollepata where we will have breakfast this first breakfast need to be order in a local restaurant in Mollepata after that we take again the private transportation until Challacnacha where is going to start our trek. A 3 hour walk will take us to Soraypampa where we will have lunch with panoramic views of beautiful snow-capped mountains (Humantay 13500ft and Salkantay 20575ft) – just the start! We will begin our trek towards the lake of Humantay, our first campsite 11750ft; the highest and coldest campsite of the trip taking in the beautiful landscape along the way as optional to continue 2 hours more to get a peaceful campsite in Salkantay Pampa 13200ft

We will have breakfast at around 5.30am and begin our walk to the highest pass on this trek 15200ft located halfway between 2 huge mountains; Salkantay on the right and Tucarhuay on the left. From the pass, the views of the 2 snow-capped mountains are incredible. There is a possibility of snow here. After a rest, we will continue our walk (downhill) through a dramatic cloud forest towards Huayracpunku, where we will have lunch. We hike again after lunch in the direction of the start of the jungle until we reach our second campsite, chaullay or Colcapampa 9800ft.

After breakfast, at 6.30am, we start in a combi for couple of hours through the upper jungle crossing the Lluskamayo River and a variety of little brooks to reach La Playa where we will Camp at the coffee plantation we will make our own food in a tradicional way, here our cheff is going to teach us the best way to make the pPeruvian cuisine and where we will learn about the process of the coffee so we will harvest, toast and ground the coffee as part of this trek . Today we will pass through valleys and have wonderful views of waterfalls, tropical fruits, plants and as soon as we are at la playa place where we are going to camp at a coffee plantation, on the other hand the horses will go back to Mollepata. from here there are an optional thing to do so we can take a local bus to drive one hour to get santa teresa where we can enjoy the natural hot springs ( bus fares and entrance fees to the natural hot springs are not included in this tour)

We will have breakfast at 6am and leave our campsite at la Playa we will walk for about 3 hours to get Llactapata so we will do the original Inca Trail trail of Llactapata from this place we can see Machupicchu and Huaynapicchu from far, after we arrive to Hydrolectric 3 hours more here where we are going to have our lunch then we continue walking, passing a variety of crop plantations, coca, banana we will be walking about two and half hours along the train road till reaching Aguas Calientes town where we will spend the night in a hostal. In Aguas Calientes, you can take advantage of the thermal springs in the town (entrance 10 soles) a real treat after finishing the trek.

We wake up early morning about 4 am to then to 4:30 to have the breakfast and leave to walk up to Machupichu which takes one and half hours up to machupicchu but there is another option to catch the first bus which leaves 5:30 to Machu Picchu (25-minutes long) in order to appreciate the magnificent city and the sunrise. A walking tour (approximately 3 hours) is given by your Guide and after this you can explore the mysterious city by yourselves. If you still have energy you can also climb HuaynaPicchu 8890ft. It takes 45 minutes to reach the top. After the day in Machupicchu You can take the bus down or walk (up to you) in roder to take the train. The first train usually leaves at 14.55 and we will arrive back in Cusco at about 19.20.or the second train which leaves 18:45 and goes to ollantaytambo where someone will be waiting for you with your guides name who will take you to the bus and back to cusco . If desired, an extra night in Aguas Calientes town can be arranged. (Please let us know whether you would like to stay an extra night when booking your tour.)

This day we are going to have a good bye lunch at home with our family in Cusco.
